Old Stone Church

Plein Air oil painting of one of my favorite places since I was a teenager. The old stone church in West Boylston overlooking Wachusett Reservoir is a well known landmark in central Massachusetts. I spent a couple days on location and finished the details at home because weather changed and many leaves were gone. I have not painted outside much since leaving Arizona and returning of live in Massachusetts, and it was enjoyable to paint in this beautiful place.
